i never wanted to have a cell phone. it seems a little ridiculous to me. why do i need to be constantly available to some jackhole in nevada who's sure that my vehicle (which doesn't exist) has a warranty that's expiring? people managed to meet each other in public places before they had cell phones. they're convenient, sure, but are they worth the cost to society to maintain that infrastructure?
