Reply To: What JoCo songs are “Funny Songs”?
Oh, I suppose I should double post about the actual points in the thread, too huh.
– The thing for me about KML is not only that the narrator has it completely wrong, but that the scenarios he describe are so ridiculous. 17 ft tall, 150 wives? His “evil” exploits increase in evilness, up to the point of eating babies … then he “copped an attitude”? Shooting a finger off from a blimp in the sky? That stuff cracks me up. But yes, it does also help that I’m very familiar with the Shoeless Joe Jackson story, and knew him as a completely different person that Shoeful Joe Jackson, so the amalgamation is funny too.
– I don’t know when the Primer was written, but I always felt that it wasn’t all inclusive … maybe someone who was around as the site was happening can remember when it showed up? Off the top of hand, I think there’s nothing there past TaW 2 or so.
– Yes, the Wiki started copying the Primer as to the categories. There was some brief discussion towards expansion, but a consensus wasn’t come to quickly and a million things have to happen over there, so it wasn’t prioritized. Feel free to put up a discussion on the Moderator Page, or on the talk pages or whatever the heck you’d like to do to it~
– The Inappropriate Character Bug ™ on the KML page is fixed. It was quote marks that were probably copied from the blog entry. 😀
