What is scary is just how much you can found out about someone by knowing their name and having an internet connection. I did it for one of me teachers I e-stalked him. Came up with some pretty cool stuff like he took part in a fish duel between Imperial and Cambridge universities. He tried to remove his internet presence or mask it at least when becoming a teacher but it is always there. He has a page at Imperial (his uni) and other places. Once I had found his alias a couple of things came up including is personal website. Then it was just a matter of wayback machine fun and I think that is where I stopped. Boredom does strange things to people. Thankfully when I told him he took it in good humour so all was good.
