Reply To: What do you want to ask JoCo? (was: What do you want to know?)
A few weeks ago, I was listening to Jawbone Radio’s Len & Nora being interviewed by Brian Ibbott of Coverville. The interview dates back to February of 2006, and it was interesting because in it, Len talked about how they connected with JoCo:
Len: It was so funny — we got introduced to Jonathan Coulton totally by accident because what I wanted to do was come up with a Podsafe Christmas song, and it was weird, because I originally approached Greg St. Clair from Cruisebox, and he ran into some family problems, couldnt do it, and I had been talking to CC Chapman and he said You know what? You should ask Jonathan Coulton to do that,” and I was like Whos Jonathan Coulton? and he gave me the name, we started trading emails and did a little search on him and realized he was the guy who did the Baby Got Back cover, and Im like oh my gosh its this guy! and then we found out he was friends with John Hodgman and so it all kind of fell in from there — we did the Hodgman interview and then we did the Coulton interview….
Nora and I have this running tally on people who are in the running to be going to be the big internet breakout star youre [Brian Ibbott] on there, Amanda Congdon, and Jonathan Coulton.
So there’s the background from Mr. Graphic Arts himself!
