N.B. rock and roll != the music industry (1.0), and part of the point of Music Industry 2.0 is making that distinction much more clear. He can kick the music industry (1.0) around the block all he likes, but that’s not really the same as giving rock and roll a kick in the ass.
Increasingly the music industry (1.0) is looking like an organized crime syndicate.
