well, you all have valid points.
@cooljammer00/jmonkee: To me its not whether or not we have anything to hide, its that we have very limited privacy in everything that we do and it seems to me that we keep losing more and more. After the patriot act we gave up many of our freedoms in a second to be “safe” from “terrorists”. I know America has the patriot act, and i think Great Britain has something close to ours-anyone know?
@Jon Who: That is also another concern of mine. How do we know that they don’t use whatever is viewed most by the viewers to create something they think we will love? Then try and shove it down our throats.
@Angelastic: To me you have a semi valid point, because when you created an account you gave youtube your email address. So whether or not they have your youtube life they still have your email and password. They can use the email as they see fit, as long as they don’t leave a trail. And how would anyone prove it anyways?
To answer your question as i understand it, angelastic, youtube uses a sort of spectator host escape. They make the people who upload the videos retain responsibility; and the video uploaders would have to deal with copyright and everything else including fines. (If i’m wrong on any of this please correct me).
