Regardless, I could listen to it over and over. Big Dick, while it may have a smoother transition into “real P&S”ishness, is a one time joke. Hey, he really DID capture P&S!
You may be kidding, but that’s it exactly! Good description of how both of the Masters did a great job capturing the other.
What I mean is, after listening to Live a bunch of times now, I like it much more than I did the first time. This happens all the time for me with JoCo songs. For example, I Crush Everything seemed blah at first, now it seems like the best song ever written. I hated My Beige Bear the first time I heard it, now it’s one of my favorites. Not saying I like Live as much as those (though I might, if Coulton records it).
By contrast, Big Dick Farts a Polka doesn’t stand up as well to repeated listens. It’s still a fun song, but once you’ve heard the joke over and over, it loses the impact. Kind of like Captain’s Wife’s Lament, for example.
