Truly though, every Mac fanatic I’ve spoken with always seems to include “And PC people have a stereotypical view of Macs!” high on their point list. I have no such view; I’m at the point where I think that opinion is the stereotype.
I’m a PC person, like Jinxie, through environment; I was working in an environment where management just started to get those new fangled computers on their desks. I did my first work in Lotus 123. But as a statistics and reporting guy, I just got corralled into doing my stuff in Excel and Access. I can’t picture doing that on a Mac, just out of force of habit, though I understand that today they are more than capable of it. Without PC and Windows, I’m out of a job. So you’ll understand if I stick with the “Bill Gates’ Towel Boy” side.
