I don’t have the self control to learn to touch type properly. I can do it mostly without thinking about it with all the proper fingerings and everything but compared to my normal typing which uses only four fingers (maybe 3) and sometimes my thumb for the space bar it is so slow. I hear all you need to do is do nothing but touch typing for 3 weeks or so and you will have reached the speed you were hitting before starting to touch type. So frustrating though I like to get things straight out of my head onto the screen. Would be horrible in chats (eg MSN).
