have you ever heard a song the vocals of which, though performed competently or even excellently by a professional singer, just grated on your nerves in a way you can’t explain? my little brother feels this way about macy gray – the timbre of her voice just drives him nuts so that he can’t listen to anything of hers.
I have exactly the same thing with macy Gray. I’m glad I’m not alone.
