The Mission is a McMenamins pub inside an old single-screen theater with a balcony, so there's a good-sized area next to the stage with tables and chairs where you can eat and drink. It's very casual. The food isn't McMenamins strong point, although the beers are pretty good (Nebraska Bitter is my favorite); I'd recommend eating before you get there, and for the love of Thor, don't order the fries. Also, the kitchen crew was really loud during the last show, so I'd encourage everyone to limit food orders so those in the back can actually hear the performers.
If you've never been there before, it's on Glisan street adjacent to the 405 freeway in Northwest Portland, directly across the street from Pearl Hardware.
