Ah, music theory! I decided to actually look up how a capo was used, which confirms that what I thought was capo on 1 was actually capo on 2, ditto 3 should be 4 (changes made above). Strangely enough, cb’s tabs say “capo 1st fret”, so I dunno. I was pretty sure about my fret count, but I’ll wait until Mark’s got his videos ready, assuming I didn’t destroy too many of them by wobbling the table while he was trying to hold the camera steady.
(Also, on the belief that probably no one else cares, I’ve e-mailed Colleen to ask for more of those technical details about Alberti bass. Perhaps it’ll make a nice addition to the “Things I Know that Wikipedia Doesn’t” category of information, which right now is looking pretty empty.)
