I live in the south east of England, and I *would* go to the northern most point of scotland if that was the closest place JoCo was performing. But realistically at least one concert should be in the south, where a majority of the population of England are.
I agree that getting multiple venues in one week is asking a lot.
My main point of attack was contacting many universities, but the timing was off, as I started just as the final term finished and the event was scheduled for the 2nd week back, so all the people that organise such things were away.
I spoke to a friend that use to organise events and he said that music venues organise things over a year ahead, and you need to send them a promotion pack (with CDs and flyers, ect) and the phone them.
What we need is some big idea on how to get media coverage, like someone tattoing their face with the website address, or something.
