I use an Ovation Solid Body in terms of actual guitar use, but I'm not exactly a gigging guitarist. I'm pretty much purely a pianist in terms of performance, though I've gotten a few gig requests on vocals… neither of which really has any unique instrument to play on. I use whatever piano is available at whatever venue I'm playing at(sometimes having to tune it…), and well… I've never really had much luck doing any vocal work with any voice but my own.
My "studio" setup is basically my laptop which has a rather tricked out sound system and some nice Sennheiser headphones, with an M-Audio Oxygen-8 keyboard for input.
