I was watching Attack of the Show back when it was geeky and fun, (actually, I just had it on while I was surfing the web) and I heard a guitar ring out in an echoing glory that sounded wonderful even on my cheap little television. I swiveled in my chair to greet the source of this impossibility, and was greeted by a bearded man singing of the loss of his dear friend- the animated sea otter that he errantly named "lobster" (I wasn't paying attention to the backstory at the time). His unique silliness, combined with a voice that hypnotized me with its falsely-genuine sorrow for the loss of a non-existent creature, perplexed me. I had never seen anything like it. I quickly disregarded my earlier internet activities and searched high and low for the furry old lobster, eventually landing here, at his website. I followed Thing-a-Week from that point on, sharing it with my friends whenever I could. While I do miss TaW, i enjoy his other work and have bought most of his CDs.
(Also, I would like to point out that the odd writing style was just for comic effect. I can also type like a normal person.
