Selling out is one of the best ways to make money for sure. And frankly selling out isn't that big of a deal. No one starts a band to remain penniless and live out of their van forever. (well.. someone probably does, but whatever..) The point is, you can sell out and not be corrupted by it. You need a good relationship with your A&R person, and a manager with the guts to stand up to the label.
And man… "Camp Bachelor Alma Mater" could make a hilarious Bud commercial. (Too bad it wouldn't make the beer any better.)
