Speaking of Mario, did you read the article about how Mario isn't really a plumber? Sure, he's got the tools and the outfit, but no one has ever actually seen him working on pipes. Getting sucked down one doesn't count, and actually should count against him as it's pretty unprofessional.

I wouldn't mind seeing JoCo doing a WoW character. I bet he'd tweak the interest of a lot of current and previous playerbase of all games too. There's a ready market for it, just like Code Monkey was eagerly enjoyed by us code monkeys.
There's some pretty darn funny characters people invented as players of Everquest though. One is TheQuon, which is a psychopathic cleric that demands obeisance from all, and likes to purple-line warriors. (Purple lining refers to getting a heal in just as the warrior is collapsing in death. Time it perfectly, and the warrior bounces back up. Time it badly, and the warrior dies, the heal is wasted, and the group is running for the zone.)
Another favorite is Skater Gnome, a level 5 human monk played by a noob.
