The JoCo Primer - More Awesomeness
If you’ve made it this far, congratulations: you are on your way to becoming an official JoCo fan first class. You may be interested in some of these interesting things - basically more ways to give me money, get involved, and in general suck the marrow out of your burgeoning JoCo fandom.
Live Shows
- Future Shows - a list of what’s coming up.
- Demand a Show - I use a website called Eventful to see where I’m likely to draw a big audience. If you want me to play near you, the best way to make it happen is to sign up there and demand it.
- Mailing List - sign up here and you’ll never miss another show. I promise I won’t flood your inbox, most of the time I just send show updates once or twice a month.
Merchandise
- Ringtones - if you’ve got a cellphone, I want to be on it. I’m setting these up gradually, so if you can’t find what you want just let me know.
- Shirts and Stuff - I sell all kinds of things through CafePress, even underwear.
- Visual Thing a Week Book - a guy named Len did a drawing for each Thing a Week song, and then published them as a beautiful book.
- Coloring Book - Len also was kind enough to make the official Jonathan Coulton coloring book, which is awesome.
- Code Monkey Card Game - Mike created a card game based on the song “Code Monkey,” and it’s totally free to download and print.
Now You
- Forums - spout off, complain, I don’t care what you do. I might not even read it!
- User Content - anyone can submit something they make based on a song through that song’s info page. Here’s a searchable list of the most recent stuff.
- Karaoke - Bob from LushKaraoke.com painstakingly created karaoke files based on vocal-free tracks I sent to him. MP4 or MP3+G formats available. I definitely want to hear recordings of this kind of thing…
