JoCo News: MST3k, Dragon Con, TMBG Shows

Hello, Friends!

Just because I haven’t been communicating AT ALL doesn’t mean I haven’t been working. I had to take a break from Satisfactory, right when I was about to turn on my first nuclear power plant, because I think I gave myself tennis elbow? So, you know, working hard!

Literally today I’m headed into the studio to record some final lead vocals for a couple of tunes on my new album. I’ve got about 15 songs, and they’re pretty far along. I don’t have a date for you yet, because these things take as long as they take. But we’re getting close! I’m excited for you all to hear it. 

Couple of shows planned: Dragon Con this weekend, and then two New Years Eve-y nights opening for my favorite band, They Might Be Giants. Details below!

MST3K

This one is really bucket list for me. I’m proud to say that I was asked to do a new version of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 theme song for their latest iteration. I tried to do my own thing while honoring the original – a classic mix of the old and the new, my trademark! I also did a new version of the closing instrumental theme with help from Paul and Storm and some other singers. The less I say about that one the better, except that it’s really weird and I love it. The first new episode is debuting in theaters on September 9 and September 13. 

Cruise

Oh yes my friends: CRUISE. The 10,00th JoCo Cruise sails Feb 20-27, 2027, which is obviously an extremely lucky number. Not sold out yet, but I expect we will be. Usually after the Summer lull is when things start to get scarce, so don’t delay act now etc. And if the cabin type you’re looking for is sold out, you can always put yourself on the wait list, because things always shuffle around.
