"You Could Be Her" was released as the sixteenth Thing a Week, on January 6th, 2006. The song was originally written for and recorded by Jonathan Coulton's previous band, Supergroup. (For another song originally written for Supergroup, see Madelaine.)

"You Could Be Her" is believed to have never been played at a Jonathan Coulton concert.

- It is probable that Jonathan was referring to the Connecticut Buckingham Square Mall in Aurora, Connecticut, which is relatively close to his home of Colchester.
- A BA is a Bachelor of Arts degree.
- "Movers and Shakers" generally refers to influential, powerful people, for instance, bankers or businessmen.
