"Pull the String" is a song on Jonathan Coulton's seventh album, Thing a Week Four.

"Pull the String" was released as the fiftieth Thing a Week on September 15th, 2006. However, Jonathan said on the blog entry for the song that the guitar riff has been "in his head since he was about seventeen".
