Subscription
You don’t need to buy a subscription to Thing a Week in order to get all the music, but I would certainly appreciate it if you did. This is a strange kind of business model I’m trying out here, for the most part giving the music away with completely voluntary donations and purchases. So far it’s not working, but we’re getting there. I consider Thing a Week to be a job, a very fun job that doesn’t pay much. But if you think I should be able to make a decent living this way, you can help make it happen by contributing a dollar a week for as long as Thing a Week lasts.
So that’s the manifesto. Here’s the deal: Paypal will automatically transfer a dollar from you to me every week, and I will automatically write a song and post it on Friday. Maybe you’ll like it, maybe you won’t. But jeez, it’s a dollar right? You can cancel at any time and still continue to get the music if you think it’s not a good deal. I’ll of course end all subscriptions if Thing a Week stops, and if for some reason I miss a week I’ll send your dollar back. IMPORTANT NOTE: this paypal business is not connected to the podcast - you must still subscribe in iTunes or some other podcast aggregator to get the mp3s delivered to you automatically.
Now: pony up moneybags.
