Bought tickets for me and 7 friends. Party in the Mezzanine! (But is the balcony worth the extra $80? I’ll have to let you know.)

I’ve decided it’s time for me to start campaigning: Vote for Jack to do the “Message Redacted” line during Chiron Beta Prime at the 12/3/09 show. There are many reasons why JoCo should bestow this honor upon me, not the least of which is my willingness to wear a silly hat or other weird headgear if so required.

It’s official! 100% of the people posting on this page (so far) agree that:
1. You should do Chiron Beta Prime at this show since it is officially Christmas season;
2. Jack F should do the “message redacted” line; and
3. It’s a really close call on whether this “campaign” is better categorized as “lame”, “annoying” or “stupid”.

When In Philly; eat at Jim’s. You never know who might be there.
October 12th, 2009 at 8:47 pm
Jim’s is good, but I prefer Geno’s. (At least you didn’t say Pat’s.)

Dear Jonathan Coulton,

First Show, please don’t suck
October 15th, 2009 at 6:47 am
I hope that Chris D. has a good experience at the show. I know it won’t suck, but I’ve got a plan to make sure it’s particularly good.
JoCo, here’s the deal. If you put on a really good show, with less than 5% suckage, there’s an extra $5.00 in it for you. That’s right. FIVE DOLLARS CASH! If at any point in the show you think you’ve hit that mark of excellence, just look up to stage left of the mezzanine and ask for your five dollars.
Sorry I can’t extend this offer to Paul and Storm. Well, I guess we could probably come up with some bus tokens or something for them.
October 18th, 2009 at 8:03 am
I’ve seen him 8 times and he’s never sucked yet.

This venue is a couple of blocks from both 30th street station and also from where the Bolt Bus drops people off. So if you’re tempted to travel to Philly from somewhere else to see this show, you should.

Librarian is right. This venue is easy to get to, has free parking, and is one of the best overall venues around. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

Are the only tickets left really 21 and over? Last time he was in the area I seen him at a local coffee shop. >.> this is out right bollocks !
November 6th, 2009 at 7:30 pm
Was going to recommend that some friends in Pittsburgh attend this show, but all seats are sold out! You should book a second show.
November 10th, 2009 at 11:55 pm
I am so ridiculously excited for this. I’ve loved dear Mr. Coulton for too long, and I have yet to see him.
ps. Any real Philidelphian will tell you Pats is better than Genos. Just saying. And Jims isn’t really worth the perpetual wait. I just had one Saturday (whitout whiz) and it was dry. Pats is the ultimate experience. Just my two cents
November 13th, 2009 at 7:41 am
While I will agree that Jims isn’t worth the perpetual wait, I must reject your conclusion that Pats is better than Genos.
And if you’re looking for a real Philly steak that real Philadelphians eat, then go to Chinks.

JoCo you’re too big for world cafe, show is sold out. Petition for JoCo @wachovia begins today.
November 24th, 2009 at 8:26 am
I may have 3 extra tickets. I’ll know by Wednesday…
November 24th, 2009 at 2:45 pm
Dear JoCo,
Can’t. Friggan. Wait.
Also, I am the guy who drunkely shouted Dance Soterious Johnson Dance at the last Philly show. I intend to do it again this year.
JoCo Rocks!
~Keith
PS: Don’t forget the Zendrum!
November 30th, 2009 at 10:49 am
Sold my extra tickets. If Blind Drunk Keith decides to act like a fool again, I guess you can blame me.
December 6th, 2009 at 12:08 pm
He did act like a fool. Shouting “Dance Soterious Johnson Dance” while JoCo was introducing another song was not cool. (But he bought us a round of drinks, so that makes him cool in my book.)
