Alright, so if it’s 18+ does that mean someone under 18 can go with a parent or guardian, or does it mean they couldn’t go at all?

  2. JoCo says:

Cam: You should call the venue and see what they can do – I don’t make these rules or have any control over them.

  3. Alexis says:

So psyched!! We missed it last year, but I already bought tickets for this show! Let me know if you need any help with anything while you’re in town.

  4. Alexis says:

Also Cam, we went through this last year – the paradise will not let anyone under 18 in, even with parental accompaniment.

  5. Blair says:

Alexis – They seem to be hard to get a hold of, so maybe you know; if I brought a tube mailer with me, do you think that’d be okay? I know they don’t allow backpacks, but I’m planning on bringing a poster along (for JoCo – don’t tell ‘im, shhh!)

  6. Robin says:

I will be there with bells* on.

Sorry, Cam, the ‘Dise is pretty strict about the 18+ rule, what with it being in proximity of several universities (which is probably why it’s not 21+). If it’s any consolation, it’ll be up on YouTube by morning at the latest. Not quite the same, I know, but at least Boston-area nerds are efficient. :)

Blair — If you’re local, it’d probably be easiest to just drop by some (midweek) evening and ask in person. If they do let you bring in a poster tube, they’ll almost certainly want to inspect it first, so you’ll probably want to show up on the early side for the actual show to minimize security staff / line disruption.

[* Disclaimer: Bells may be metaphorical.]

  7. Blair says:

Thanks Robin — but I’m going to the Northampton show now instead. I’m very un-local (near 3 hours away) so dropping by early wasn’t going to happen.

Hello, so it seems that this club doesn’t allow anyone under 18 to go even if there with an adult, thats a shame. I hope you come back though to a different club that allows all ages so that I will be able go seeing as how I am underage. But my my parents and brother, along with some of my friends are all waiting to go see you when you finally do come back to do an all ages show near the Boston area…good luck withe everything! Can’t wait to see a future show!

Any chance of another appearance at Northeastern while in Boston? I checked the afterHours club calendar because I figured it wouldn’t be listed on the Tour calendar, but it doesn’t look like they’ve posted anything for this fall.
Could be something going on with their new site:

I saw Mr. Coulton’s concert last year. I was fantastic! I will be there and I am bringing all my friends, so should you!
