Couldn’t you do one lil’ show at J&R in lower Manhattan? I bought your concert DVD/CD there—not because it was cheaper, but because I wanted the experience of buying your CDs in a brick & mortar store. Also, Amazon couldn’t deliver it for another week.

Nice to give us an update! I hope you enjoy the time you have with your kid and your lover over this summer! Although… I hope you go to Dragon’Con this year… just as a random jerkoff like the rest of us, that is! It’d be ashame to miss out on something so effing awesome! I finally pulled some money together and have plans on going as soon as I can find a car willing to take me… I hope my friends and I can pull this together.

Wow.. preschool. Holy random nostalgia, Batman. I just remembered one of the kids who would eat food off the ground even if it wasn’t his. And another kid, who could actually read wicked well for his age, was picking his nose then started to bleed wildly all over everything. Preschool was a strange place.

I think it’s safe to say we all appreciate how cool it is that you not only are taking such a break but that you explain it so beautifully and honestly. Jon, I’d recommend that during your hiatus you take some time to go out and jam with folks. Pop into a filk convention, or a bluegrass jam, unannounced and just play. It’s vital to the creative process.
