    Does anyone know if you can buy tickets ahead of time? Or is it at the door only?

    I believe you can buy them ahead of time by calling the box office. But let me know if this isn’t the case.

    The info I have so far indicates that tickets will be sold that night and doors open at 7:30. Expected to sell out. Found this by going to zvents (usual before and after) and searching for Columbus shows, then searching for Jonathan Coulton on June 6. I copied and pasted the search results below. We live in Cincinnati so are going to see him on June 5th (have tickets). Here’s what I found on zvents:

    Update: Just spoke to someone at CBR’s (614-224-8155). Said they haven’t done many shows like this before and aren’t getting a feel for how well this show will sell, other than what the “promoter” (sp?) has told them. I asked if tickets were only being sold that night at the door & he said that was the plan. After I asked some more questions, he said if we call on May 30th, we’ll be able to use a credit card to reserve/buy tickets.

    He said they have space for an audience of 475.

    This has been a bit confusing, but at least they’re trying to help those who would like to know they have a ticket before making a trip- or having to stand in line the night of the show, hoping to get in.

    Thanks for everyone’s help. Knowing Joco fans, we could see a sell out here and I don’t want to risk missing a ticket. Although, the last show in Columbus wasn’t that big of a turn out. Hmm.

    we live in columbus but are going to the cincinatti show as that is the first show my wife found out about!
    I’ve added both the shows to upcoming.org which may also bump up some interest too.
