    yay, you’re coming back!!!

  2. Mr.Nobody Says:

    WOOHOO!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait!! =D

  3. Andrew Says:

Yay, you’re coming! Boo, you’re not bringing P&S! (But only a tiny little boo; I’m sure they’d be here if they could.)

I’m so glad you’re coming within 200 miles of where I live! I just wish the Cactus Cafe would pre-sell tickets. We’ll be loading up the whole family and driving up there anyway, in hopes of scrounging tickets on the day of the show. Can someone who’s been to a show there give me an idea of how early we need to get in line to be sure to get in?

  5. Anton Says:

I’ve only been to the cactus cafe once and it was easy to get in. According to their site the doors open 45 minutes before the show. We showed up about an hour before the show and there were only a few people in line already.

I’d still recommend getting there early, you can always go get a drink or bite to eat if there isn’t a line yet.

    See you there!

  6. Andrew Says:

@midori: There are plenty of food outlets in and near the Union, and you can easily plop one person in line and let the rest forage. Anton is correct that an hour ahead of show time should be plenty, but you might want to allow 90 minutes to be safe.

Also, the Cactus is a bar; you might want to email them to be sure kids can get in.

  7. Andrew Says:

@midori: Wait, just saw that it’s an all-ages show, so never mind. You’re golden.

  8. Alexandre Says:

Wait… Am I getting this right? It’s during SXSW but it’s not, in fact, a SXSW gig? As in, those of us without a wristband can actually see JoCo in a cozy little room?
    Wow!

  9. JC Says:

Exactly right, this is not an SXSW event. Eff those guys… ;)

  10. midori Says:

Yay! My pony/monkey monster is almost finished!

  11. Kelly Says:

Yay! I’ll be dragging my husband along (he likes the music, but hates groups of people) and a coworker (who is cheerfully coming along). Our coworkers in Mountain View are jealous :)

  12. midori Says:

I’m bringing my husband, my daughter, my son, his friend, 2 of my husband’s co-workers and their significant others… convoy!

  13. rooster Says:

I live just a few blocks away, Can’t wait to go.

  14. John Says:

It’s going to be difficult but I may try it. I get off work in San Antonio at 6pm, so if the traffic isn’t… well, normal, I may make it in time to be so far back in the line as to not get tickets. Oh well, worth a shot.

  15. Gorrad Says:

    Arrrrrrrr!

  16. Anton Says:

    Awesome show, Thanks!

  17. John Says:

Yeah, it was pretty good. I had a sleepy girlfriend that made me leave early in the second set, but well worth the drive up from San Antonio.

  18. John Says:

Ok, pretty good is an understatement. It rocked my socks.
