The Merlin Show Interview
February 26th, 2007
When I was playing at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco, I agreed to do an interview with Merlin Mann, the supergenius behind 43folders and 5ives and other things, for his new internet TV show The Merlin Show. Imagine my surprise when I showed up and there were two cameras, a couple of lav mics and a couch. It’s like a real TV show! Who knew?
We talked about Thing a Week, Hodgman, and my terrible inbox management skills, which I thought were pretty good until Merlin got his hands on me. As I say, I’m trying to get better, and so far his suggestions are totally working. He is a wizard (not literally).

Hey there. Long time listener, first time caller.
I thought it was a great interview with Merlin Mann, and just wanted to say thanks for the music.
Hmm. That’s neither of the Merlins I know.
Oh, what the heck, I’ll also say thanks fo the music.
Looks as if you are waging a fine war around here. Glad to have found you through the interview…
Saw the interview too – or at least the first half (apparently there’s more?).
Merlin’s been talking about you on TWIT and Macbreak Weekly, so it wasn’t all that surprising that there was an interview. Still – looked good – fun, interesting stuff!
