Columbus Destroyed

December 2nd, 2006

Not really – I hear that some traffic lights were out here and there, but as far as I can tell Columbus survived the double attack of high winds and a good JoCo soft rocking. Sturdy folk, you Ohioans. Thanks for coming out to see us.

Tonight: Canal Street Tavern in Dayton, and then tomorrow we go home.

Also: Monday I’ll be on WNYC’s Soundcheck at 2 PM, talking about how I invented the internet. I hear there may even be call-in opportunities…

What no big boom? There was supposed to be an earth shattering kaboom. oh dear, this is most inconvenient. I’ll have to get another illudiom pew-36 explosive space modulator.

Hey, never mind the winds, you guys blew us away on yourselves! Thanks for a great show, and a belated hippie bird day…

Awesome news about Soundcheck! Do you know if that’s the segment they’re going to podcast?

My parents live in Dayton and if they hadn’t just been here for Thanksgiving, I would have made a special trip up there for you! Canal Street Tavern is nice, I saw Over the Rhine there around Easter. Have fun!

I was planning to come, but at the last minute my 9-month-old ruined everything by getting sick.
